  • Engineering Software Developer

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a talented and highly motivated individual to work in our MDO optimization software and in our third party interface developments. The candidate should be knowledgeable in optimization methods and applications and be proficient in programming. We use a variety of programming languages including Fortran, C, C++, Java and Python. The successful candidate will work in most aspects of the software, including implementing user interfaces and interactive graphic models, algorithms, documentation and client support.

    Skills & Experience required:

    The ideal candidate will have a degree in Computer Sciences, Computational Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and have prior software development experience. Experience with general purpose multidiscipline design optimization tools is highly desirable.

    The candidate will work with optimization engineers, software developers and CAE Engineers.

  • Engineering Software Sales

    Responsible for development and execution of sales activities:

    - Main activities include client development
    - Research and pursue new opportunities, new prospects, and new leads
    - Schedule customer meetings based on qualified opportunities
    - Extensive calling into new prospect, qualifying potential customers and identifying new opportunities
    - Develop prospect lists and execute pre-determined targeted sales to generate new business
    - Proactively seek new avenues to find new prospects and clients
    - Maintain long term relationships with existing and prospect clients
    - Consistently pursue and close new business

    Skills & Experience required:

    - Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years proven experience in engineering
    - Self-motivated to succeed
    - A proven record in finding new clients and communicating to executive and top level manager of potential and current customers
    - Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm in carrying out responsibilities
    - Ability to manage client requirements, maintain client satisfaction and ensuring strong support for clients
    - Results oriented and ability to plan ahead
    - Effective communication skills
    - Ability to learn quickly
    - Proven phone prospecting skills
    - Proactive to customer solicitation
    - High-energy/engaging personality
